Frequently asked questions
How much faster does it charge?
At around 0 °C, the car typically charges at only about 40 kW on a fast charger without pre-heating. With the kit, the battery is warm when you arrive and charges at a minimum of 140 kW on a charger that can deliver it.
Does it affect my warranty?
Fitting non-original parts can affect the car manufacturer's warranty, including the battery warranty. Our 1-year warranty covers the kit itself. Read the full terms in our disclaimer before you order.
Is it safe? Can it overheat the battery?
The kit doesn't heat or control the battery itself. It sends a single request to start the car's own battery pre-heating. The car's battery management decides whether heating is needed and stops by itself when the battery is warm enough.
Does it fit my car?
VW ID.4, ID.5 (incl. GTX), Škoda Enyaq and Audi Q4 e-tron from 2021–2023, and VW ID. Buzz from 2022–2023. Models from 2024 onwards already have pre-heating built in. We check your model and year before anything is added to the basket.
